The product was fine, the customer service was not. After I received my first shipment I called to cancel the automatic shipments. I had a long conversation with the rep. in which she said several times, 'We are sorry to lose you as a customer."...to which I replied several times, "I like the product, I will buy it again, but I don't want automatic shipments."....Seriously, we did this at least 4 times. After that I even ordered the product, being charged the shipping, and did not sign up again for auto shipments. Then, one day, I received an auto shipment. I called to ask why and to tell them I had already cancelled auto shipments. That rep. told me that all she could do was take out my credit card info. and that in my file the previous rep. had written, "customer understands that automatic shipments will continue"..??????? After that experience I received an online survey from 'Chaz Dean' asking me to review my customer service experience.....I did, and wrote just what I wrote here. No response from 'Chaz Dean'....but I am not surprised. I do have a notice now from them saying that I failed my obligation to them...right. I would have been happy if there had even been an acknowledgment of any misunderstanding.

The product was okay and was willing to keep trying it, although I did not see any noticeable improvement, however, there are hidden charges and I ended up paying approximately $110 for products I thought I was paying $52 for. Lesson learned, never again.

I called to give a new address and they didn't put it in their system. Instead they shipped to our old address. I called to follow up on my shipment and they had no record of the old address (where they shipped a pkg in June) and no record of the new address (that we just gave them an hour earlier, for the 2nd time). I hear the agents laughing and joking in the background. very unprofessional. I won't deal with them anymore. Now i have to go to my bank and change cards to insure they don't charge anything (from the account they can't find).

I ordered the trial kit for 29.95.. I tried the products that were sent shampoo/conditioner etc. It stripped my hair of all oils and moisture. My hair became extremely dry and frizzy. I was going to return the left over product however I was told I would have to pay the shipping cost od returning it, so it was not worth the hassle besides I felt I was not receiving a" full refund" if I had to pay to ship it back to them. Do not waste your money the product did not meet tthe claims they make in their advertisements.

I ordered the product through their website. I kept the introductory package to try it. It did not work well with my hair, so when a second shipment arrived, (about 4 weeks later), I returned it, and cancelled. The company has continued to charge my credit card for the past 7 months! Twice in some months! After calls, letters, an affidavit to state that I did not in fact receive any further shipments, and additional email correspondence, the company is giving me only a partial refund, which has not been posted to my credit card. I feel that it was a rip-off, since it has cost me almost three hundred dollars to try a product, that I didn't even like!

When I heard that this products does an amazing outcome to your hair! I went for it! Ordered a lot in ebay ! And I mean, I have spent some quality dollars! They are not CHEAP!! But using it for a mere 3 months , I have noticed that my hair is becoming nappy and brittle! Like it's been neglected ! Specially in the back where I lay my head on the pillow! I have used the almond mint products! And I hated the outcome! I have decided to wash my hair with Joico since my hair is becoming ugly and dull and so frigid and heavy!! And when I stopped using wen my hair went back to normal ! Light and breezy and not nappy and dull! Wen products is only for a few months! Don't believe the raucous that you can only use conditioner! That's just a b/s advertisement! You do need to wash your hair! period!!! I am angry that wen advertisements is a false pretense! Really?? I still have a lot of his products sitting in my now closet!!! Unused!!! Don't fall for this trap! Wen products is not good! It's just one of those bait for your big wallet!!

I have read all of the comments on here and agree with those who say you HAVE GOT TO FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS! I do not have greasy or dandruff hair from this product. I have shoulder length, chemically treated, curly, colored hair that can sometimes be oily after not washing for two days. I have found that this shampoo does not lather BUT does detangle my hair and you MUST rinse it very well and use enough of the shampoo. It may seem like you are using too much but you aren't. With my shoulder length hair, I have to use 3 pumps for each section. I don't take a comb in the shower to section it out. I just do it with my hands. I wash my body, then add a little water to my hair massage my scalp and rinse it clean. PERFECT! There IS a auto ship and they DO take it out for 3 mos and you CAN change the auto ship from once a quarter to twice a year. If you buy salon shampoo, then this is NO MORE EXPENSIVE!

I used the entire 30 day bottle and was hooked! It took me a few weeks to see total results. I have the thickest, dry/frizzy hair. Wen, Almond Mint totally calmed and softened my hair. I did auto ship the first time with a preload debit card. Then I ran out and wanted to get some more so bad that I used my regular debit card. The thing is that I didn't know next shipment would be 98 dollars, and it would be split in 3 payments. That part was misleading. But honestly, it's almost worth it. I love how it makes my hair feel. I have to use a lot. I'm glad I read that QVC sells the gallons w/no auto ship. I think I might try that next time.

First I would like to say that I wish this product were not being rated by mixing up the reviews of the product itself with reviews of the various ways people signed up to purchase it. I haven't been using it long enough to know if I signed on to one of the scam websites (I certainly hope not!) and Chaz definitely needs to check up on what companies he is allowing to market his products if he really cares as much about his customers as he says. However, that is a whole different story from the actual products. On to the product, which I am more than happy with. I have rather thin, short, curly, color treated hair; and by the time I used to be done with styling products to try to get some volume, the color always looked much darker than it should have and my hair looked stringy rather than full. Now that I have been using several of the Wen products for several weeks, the color looks as light as it should, my hair looks full around my face instead of stringy, and it stays that way all day no matter what the weather conditions. So...I am really happy with the products and I do recommend trying them. Just be sure to read all the small print on whatever site you are buying them from so you won't get in a financial trap as others seems to have, or--probably the best advice, given all of the discussion here already--just by what you need for one round and don't commit to a long-term set-up until you know whether you like the products or not.

My fried recommended it. I've used three times so far, as my hair has never looked worse. Firs time it caused major dandruff, second time hair wadded like a brillo pad, and third time looks like I stuck my finger in an electrical socket. Not right for me. Very, very dissapointed.

I've used it for over a year now. I buy it from QVC for the annual auto-ship of the one gallon size., After carefully reading about hair types I chose Fig (which smells more like mint to me). My hair is gray. curley AND frizzy!. Believe me your hair will have a mind of its own when it turns gray. I use to color my hair but now I've stopped. Not because of WEN. but because the gray is a really pretty gray.and coloring is very hard on your hair I've found that the one gallon size is enough for a little more than a year, I use two to three pumps, and with QVC the customer service is awesome should I want to make a change or stop auto-delivery. You can only get the gallon size during their annual WEN DAYS (June?) It's a little pricey that way but cheaper in the long run You might watch for "free shipping Days" or ask customer service. I would advise you to try one made for your hair type, and if it works for you. then order the gallon size. Good luck! Check out the QVC.com website. and try a small bottle at first. Oh yeah,I also bath my Yorkie in it too! Thanks WEN!..

This product, like any other is NOT for everyone!.... I am a model for this product and LOVE it! It is a CREAM cleanser which means if you have fine AND/or greasy hair, then this product just may not be the one for you (at least not as a daily cleanser). I have curly to wavy hair that dries out quickly with styling gels and most daily shampoos, however I still keep a bottle of good ole' strip your hair down shampoo around for those modeling jobs that require heavy styling products. I will be the first to admit that WEN is not the cheapest hair care line out there, but it is a high quality line. I do go into the salon to purchase my products so I cannot comment on the negative feedback about the customer service and shipping, but as far as the products go they really are pretty amazing. Nobody is paying me a dime to write this review so please take it for what it is worth! Just be practical when buying any product and take everyone's comments (including mine) with a grain of salt.

The product fails to get your scalp clean, leaves your hair greasy looking and smells like a dentist's office. It does, however, make a nice de-tangling cream rinse. You just have to wash your hair in something else and not mind smelling like mouthwash. Oh, and you also have to not mind the exhorbitant price.

Experience not as good. i have used the product thru QVC and have enjoyed the Wen experience. I decided to try the infomercial and all of a sudden I read my bill. 3 x's the price...3 months in a row. I called customer svs. They closed my account (at my request) and rectified the problem. I then called a second day to confirm that the account was cancelled and two payments taken away. Today I called, after reading these reviews and spoke to a Supervisor who also advised my account was closed and the billing would be adjusted. I have to say everyone I dealt with was very nice and very sympathetic. I advised the supervisor that the customer reps, from TV mercials, should be trained and product that is ordered should be shipped...not for 3 months, but for one month. I should not receive products I won't or cannot used, especially if I did not order them. So, I enjoy the product...so far Pomeagranite is my favorite. Use the product the way Chaz says...and make sure you use enough. It's expensive...but, I ejoy it. The cleansing/conditioner is great and I like the volumizer and the hydrating spray. I will check on my bill, every month, to make sure that my problem was resolved. Thanks all for taking the time. I also told them they should retrain the reps and make sure they sell only what is requested...and that the customer should be made aware of what they are getting and how the billing works.

I would recommend order on Amazon rather than anyplace else, because you can order just one bottle, one time, and not have to deal with autopayment/autoship. I'm not sure what their return policy is if not satisfied with the product, but at least you'd know you're only out one payment if you don't like it, rather than stuck with endless problems with autoship everywhere else.

One of the main reasons I purchased WEN was because the infomercial demonstrated that the color will not wash out after you dye it. Unfortunately my color came out but I will say I loved the way my hair felt in the shower so soft and not tangled. When I styled my hair I notice it felt heavy and there was a shine but it felt like I had put too much product in my hair but I didn’t…..the shine made my hair look greasy; like I haven't washed my hair in 3 days but since I bought the product I felt I would give it a chance. After using the shampoo and conditioner for over a week the product left me with major build up and dandruff. I cancelled my future order immediately and today I request for a refund. I’m keeping my figures crossed due to the experiences I’ve had with Guther-Ranker in the past; that I get my refund and I no longer receive this product. This may work for some people but it definitely did not work for me.

First, the product is a waste of time and money. Did absolutely nothing for my hair. The fine print on the first order is misleading and they will send you a shipment every 30 days - even if you don't want them. I cancelled my subscription, stopped payment on the charges and still receive monthly statements. When you call to discuss, the customer service reps are extremely rude. One even hung up on me! I would never recommend this product to anyone and anytime I watch the show Flipping Out and see Chaz on it, it only makes me more angry about all of the time I have spent on the phone with dealing with his subpar product line.

I haven't bought this, but for those with the auto ship problems...there is VERY fine print that says that the price is effective only if you "auto ship" ( I can't rember the phrase they used) Then, I was watching QVC and Chaz started to say for those people who say their hair looks dirty, you're using too...QVC cut off what he was going to say and it was never mentioned again. I feel as if I have to have a magnifying screen if I want to order from an informercial to read the fine print...and there's always some fine print.

I've been using WEN for about 5 months now. When applying, I wet my hair and with my head still in the water a little, I start applying the WEN allowing it to seap through my hair easier. (I find that I don't require so much of the product this way.) Then I leave it in while I finish my shower, rinsing it out at the end. My hair has grown much faster in these last few months than it has since 2007 (when I cut my hair above my shoulders). My hair is currently to the lumbar region of my spine. I also noticed that I don't have to wash my hair everyday like before. I can wash every other now. I am so pleased with WEN and I love the sweet almond scent! I have been using Wen for over three years now and will never go back to regular shampoo. In order to get results from this product you have to use it properly. Time is the key. Your hair has to be completely saturated with water before you apply the Wen. Then you have to massage it throughout your scalp and ends. I leave it on for about 5 minutes before rinsing out. Rinsing long enough is crucial or you will end up with greasy hair. All types of Wen are not the same. I can not use the Sweet Almond or Fig on my hair as it is thinner and seems to weigh it down but the Lavender works great. I also order through QVC to avoid the automatic shipping and all the extra stuff I don't need. It is a bit pricey but the results are worth it. People always comment on how shiny and healthy my hair is.

I received my first shipment of Wen yesterday. I like the smell of the cleansing conditioner; however , using it on my long, layered hair I thought that it would de-tangle it. Didn't work very well. The styling cream is pretty much useless, and I let them talk me into trying the volumizing treatment - big mistake. It does create volume, but it makes my hair feel like straw and it's totally impossible to get a comb through it after use. They really hyped these products up; I haven't used the intensive treatment or balm yet. Don't know if I'll even bother. I feel like I was scammed. I was truly hoping this product would be like it "claimed". Instead I think it's just another one of those gimmicks that sucker people who really want to believe that these products will work. The infommercials are obviously very well done, they hooked me! I will continue to give Wen a try for another couple weeks. But I think I'll be going back to using my Nexxus products, which I can purchase when and where I want without any hassle about returns. The marketing for Wen is great, but the product is disappointing overall.

Personally, I love WEN, but there are a few things they do not tell you. 1st, there are 5 diff types of WEN, the sweet almond type they offer is 2 thick 4 thin hair like mine. I use the cucumber/aloe. 2nd, you must have time 2 use this product, if you do not have time to wet your hair thoroughly for 1 min b4 you even put on WEN, then you must add a little water 2 saturate hair, then add a little more WEN, then the most important tip is you have to have enuff time 2 let it work, a full 3-5 mins on your head and a full 1-2 mins 2 rinse out or the oils tend 2 stay in your hair. So, if you are in a hurry and need a 5 min shower WEN id not 4 you. It was also 2 expensive for most people so I found a product called HAIR ONE, you can get at any Sally Beauty Supply or order online. It's a 1/3 of price and they hv several diff kinds even a jojoba one foe chemically treated hair. I hope this helped. When I followed the directions (same 2 both products) I found it worked so much better. Remember, these are essential oils cleaning your hair, they work differently than soap. All in all I LOVE this method of cleaning my hair, but it isn't 4 everyone, I think people with a lot of thick heavy hair may not love it and def should check out HAIR ONE if they do, so they don't go broke!!

Have been using it for a week. First two days were great...now with extra humidity in the air, my fine hair (lots of it, though....) is a greasy mess. No thanks...although I might try using it every third shampoo. Not sure if I am on auto-delivery. I really hope that is not the case. I will be looking into that. If I am, then this is a very misleading and sneaky way of doing business. Also, I have shoulder length hair and use several pumps. Tried using less pumps and it still feels greasy.

The product is just ok. The very first time I used it my hair was well moisturized and smelled great, but after that it was limp and flat. I ended up using the products as a conditioner with my normal shampoo. Unfortunately, I did not realize I was signing up for a monthly shipment! They keep your check card on file and bill you for a follow-up order you don't authorize! I am so frustrated. The second order is nearly $100. Now I am paying to ship it back. Don't order the product. Just get a sulphate free shampoo and a good conditioner. And the "extras" they include in the shipment don't do anything! I threw them away. The products do not meet the claims they make in their advertising.

This has been the worst product I have ever used in my life! I am a 25 yr old latina with long hair in length, I have always taken so much pride in my hair. Shiny and healthy. So I figured this would make it even more beautiful. After using this for a few days, with the recommended 30 pumps, it felt so heavy in build up, and by the next morning it looked greasy and dirty! I felt it was false advertisment! In the pamphlet it came with it says how not to use any heating products (irons, blow dryers etc) But it is obvious that all the models had their hair styled! There is no way your hair can look like theirs without styling tools and just using the Wen products! Even co workers noticed my lifeless hair. I went from a hair commercial to dirty stringy hair! I will go back to my regular shampoo to get my lucious look back! Not worth the money time or 30 pumps per usage! Ridiculous

So I am disappointed with the product. It is ok. I have very thick hair and this makes it feel like hay. It looks good, is shinny, but is has a "not clean" smell to it. I would not recommend you waste your time on this.

okay, i got the product from a friend who recommended it. I have to say that it is just okay. i think the secret is to use your regular shampoo in between uses of wen. i have fine, oily hair and i wash every other day. however, by the second day my hair was always oily, more oily than with regular shampoo. you don't have to use as much as the product says, maybe 8-12 pumps and don't have to leave it in as long or comb it through to get desired results. but, you DO have to rinse, rinse, rinse. i used the cucumber aloe and by the time i was done rinsing so much my hair felt dry so i added my own conditioner to the ends. it worked fine. overall, wash every other day and use regular shampoo in between and you will be satisified, not thrilled beyond belief, but satisfied.

Used on my daughter's hair- which is long thick and curly. It was ok- same as when I usually wash it but she did not cry when I combed it. Since I was not crazy about it I was shocked to find that my checking account was charged again! I called customer service who said it was too late to cancel and more product would be shipped soon. Now I have to send it back and wait 4 - 6 wks for a refund! They better not charge my account anymore or I'm filing fradualant charges against the company.

I have very long hair...almost to the bottom of my back. It used to take me almost 30 minutes to get a wide toothed comb or a pick through it due to all the tangles and knots. Now, following the directions, I use the same wide toothed comb and get through it immediately!!! I loose so much less hair this way, not to mention the pain I am saved trying to struggle to get through it. Plus, it stays this way. For several days I can simply comb or brush through my hair pain free without a handful being pulled out from knots and tangles. I am so pleased with WEN and will never look back!

I used the product as directed and after a month and a half my hair started to fall out! Not just a little, we're talking ALOT of hair. Needless to say I stopped using it right away!!

After using product for 30 days I noticed my hair starting to fall out. Every time I took a shower and rinsed out the product the hair would be in my fingers, not a few but about 50 hair strands! Stoped using this product and the hair is not falling out in the shower any more!

Does not work, I followed the directions, gave it about 2 weeks with nothing but bad results. My hair is long and natural, this product made my hair flat and very very greasy with the added bonus of a strange dull look and texture. For an added bonus I apparently enrolled myself in a monthly club so I already recieved another shipment of this product, that does not work! Read the fine print before ordering this product!

Ok, I having a diagnosis of "hyper-thryoid" one of many effects is dryness - scalp. Chaz to the rescue!. I used t-gel, head & shoulders along with 3 more products. I went natural with jojoba oil and tea tree - without success slightly less with flaking. My doctor recommended dry scalp medicated shampoo with no positive results. Running my hands through my hair displayed a blizzard of flakes, dry course hair and dullness and fruzzy. Using Wen I had results immediately!. Dry scalp 95 percent GONE! Hair looks and feels amazingly soft, shining and manageable.. Second use amazing!. No flakes or dry scalp, my hair shines feels amazing and no frizzies. Chaz you sold me. Thanks for your Wen creation! Pricing is appropriate and will continue using Wen products. Chaz thank you, I wear darker color clothing without fear of extremely visible flakes!!! Deb

I like this product. I have fine, limp hair and it gives my hair body. I think the secret is to rinse, rinse, rinse. The first time I didn't rinse enough and it felt greasy the second day. My hair is never greasy so I knew to rinse more. I also rinse in warm, not cool water. I will order again but not those other products that I cannot use.

I am on my third bottle of wen and truly think that it is worth the price. Yes, it does not cleanse like other shampoos but normal shampoo is actually very damaging. I get compliments all the time about how dingy and healthy my hair is. It's a great product and great for guys as well.

I have medium long, straight hair. I use 4 pumps per washing; 1 pump on each section of hair. The experience reminds me of a spa treatment; the aroma is very theraputic. However, I think the instructions just encourage you to use too much product so that you re-order more often. I like the soft, silky effects and only have to wash 2-3 times per week. I do think it is very expensive and I don't like the autoship features.

I've been using Wen for a couple of years. My hair is short so I use about 11 pumps. I don't have time to leave it in for 20 minutes, so it's only in for about 5 minutes while I'm showering. When I first started using it, I noticed that quite a few hairs fell out. That's not such a problem now, fortunately. I do find that the product builds up and doesn't clean my hair that well, so every few days or so I use "regular" shampoos and conditioners.

i hair fine and oily hair, this was definately not the product for me. i really wanted this product to work, so when it wasn't living up to its promises, i contacted customer service and made the changes to my routine they suggested and nothing changed. my hair was still limp and oily. I had no choice but to stop using the product. i wasted well over $100 on this product.

Idk. I don't think it's as terrible as the previous reviews have said. But definitely not this amazing miracle product the commercials make it out to be. I guess my hair was pretty nice and soft after using this. And it did smell rather nice. But the problem is that it's not very cleansing. Granted, it does cleanse somewhat, but that doesn't last very long. Since you don't use shampoo, (only the 'cleansing conditioner'), my hair got oily a lot faster than it does when I do use shampoo. So I would not recommend this to anyone with oily hair. So usually I end up rubbing a bit of normal shampoo into my scalp before I rinse the Wen out. So my hair did feel pretty nice after using this, but after a couple months I did get some build-up in my hair, and the Wen kind of lost it's effectiveness. But I guess that happens with most hair products. My bottle has lasted me a few months, but I only wash every other day. But my sister used hers up in like 3 or 4 weeks, cuz she washed everyday. So I guess it depends on how much you use. [My hair is pretty long, btw]. I don't know how much this sells for, but I think it's expensive. And I also can't say anything about their phone ordering or customer service. (Since I was given this by my grandmother). But overall, I wouldn't recommend it. Mainly because it doesn't cleanse enough, and you can easily find cheaper products that work just as well, if not better.

I tried this and ordered it off of QVC. I got the large 32 OZ and it cost 50.00. I ordered the one fit for my hair type. My hair is long with a spiral curl. I followed the directions exactly even using 40 - 50 pumps of the product each time I washed.Combed it though, massaged, left on for 20 minutes and rinsed in cool water. They said the longer you leave it on the better the results. So after seeing no results, I used more product each time I washed and left it on 25 - 30 minutes. I still had to use my other hair products and I still dealt with frizzies toward the afternoon. I had the same results with my drug store products! I will not use this again. I wasted too much time when I had to wash my hair. What a waste of money.

I have fine hair and this product made it flat in a day. I usually could go a few days without washing. If you wash your hair daily it's ok. It's a small bottle for the money. I also wasn't crazy about the smell. Almond mint? Weird.

I got sucked into the infomercial and spent a lot of money on a small bottle thinking it would make my hair look amazing. My hair smells good after use-but that is it. I end up with flyaways, greasy, and flat hair after use. I am not a fan and will never reorder.

I thought the bottle was going to be a few days worth. I read the direction.. 25 pumps and applied to my scalp and left it on.. I added a bit for a leave in. I love it.. my hair never felt greasy. I am a trucker and have to wash my hair 1-2 times a day. which is hard on the road. Love this product. I slather some on and use it when I sit in the sauna.. now I can go 48 hours and not have a greasy mess on my scalp..better than dry shampoo.

My hair didn't really feel clean using this. When I called to cancel the woman said I should use more, but I had run out of the product at least a week before I was supposed to. Very expensive for 3 weeks of shampoo, and my hair was very greasy near my scalp.

My hair never looked and felt worse then when I used this stuff. It looked as if I hadn't washed my hair for a week after just one use and worse is the feeling of running your hands through your hair through a greasepit. It's disgusting. The "shampoo" feels more like conditioner and I had to use so much to get my hair to feel somewhat clean. Also a turnoff is that I prefer fruity girly scents and I wasn't pleased with the smell of the stuff. BIG waste of money and time.

I found that you have to put in the right amount of product which can be a lot, work it through, let is sit, add more water and rinse for clean hair and scalp. It does not foam. It will be similar to having to much conditioner in your hand. That said, I like that it has no sulfites and not a really strong smell. It's also a product that can double for shaving and cleansing. It also leaves your scalp feeling moisturized instead of dry or flaky. I wouldn't get this on autoship. I'd go to his website and get the large cleansing conditioner and maybe the oil. If you are very coarse or 4b curls, opt for the very moisturizing product. The moisture stick is good for men or for carrying when you travel and need a moisturizer. He designs his products to be multipurpose. It's also nice as a light coating for flat ironing or curling hair without a lot of stiffness or stickiness.
