I was sucked into the infomercial for this trimmer. Dazzled by its simplicity. It was the first and the last time I will buy into it. The battery sucks. Unless you want to spread your work out for a week. Charge the battery trim for 15 minutes charge the battery. I wish I had that money back... I would get something useful. A collectors edition of a Video Game perhaps. Do not waste your time on this dung.

Thanks for ripping people off, the battery sucks!!! How can you take advantage of people!! I saved my hard earned money to buy this and I can not even use it more than a few, FEW, minutes. This is just rude and wrong!

Add on TV is wonderful but NOT true. Doesn't work as a trimmer, battery doesn't last and when returned within the 30 DAY for a full refund --- no refund was done and was unable to speak with customer service. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT...you will be sorry if you do.

had a very bad heart attack & needed a trimmer that weighted less than my gas powered Stiehl @ 15 lbs. worx is not the best at communicating with it's customers. i wanted the free line & i wanted to purchase it from my local dealer. had to set it up with his (the dealer's) worx rep. weeks later i finally got it & another battery. i was VERY disappointed. everytime i set the worx gt to cut some grass the head STOPPED so it was up & down & stop - over and over and over THIS PIECE OF JUNK WAS GOING BACK ASAP. since i had nothing else to do i changed batteries & VOILA it worked perfectly! Unlike my Stiehl the line feed actually works. The battery lasts as long as i expected it to. The faulty first battery was replaced without comment by the dealer. I wouldn't have a w g/t if i had a landscapping business - it's not a heavy duty / industrial strength outdoor tool nor is it meant to be. For my use it's perfect. I especially like the side walk edger feature as it does that job super fast with attractive results

Also got this for my husband for fathers day. Although not a man into yard work, he now FINDS reasons to use it. He absolutely loves it!

Got this for my husband for fathers day and he loves it. Additional string is also cheaper since you only pay for shipping and handling.

After watching the hour ad on tv, I was amazed by the product. However, this is what they dont tell you. There is no battery, they give you 3 east steps how to remove your car battery and use it for this trimmer. The total weight is about 36-38lbs, depending on if you actually get all the parts to the motor. Also, the "double helix cord" is simply knotted toilet paper that has been spray painted. I attempted to trim the lawn and this thing died out after an attempt at 1/4 inch. The salesman was persistant after i tried to return it. He shows me the little flower guard attachment, you know the 1/8" rubberband that protects your 1000 dollar rose bush. He put it on his forehead and powered it on, it was a disgusting site. O, and dont even try to charge the thing, it shorts out your circuit breaker and needs an additonal alternator just to charge it, The thing barrles smoke out, and killed my next door neighbor from suffication in the morning. I give this product a 5/5 though, because it comes with a free drywall hanging attachment.

Lightweight, handy to have and very useful. Quality sucks though. Ours broke within a few months. And it was a part that can't be replaced. Also had trouble reaching anyone to return it so it sits in the garage... maybe I can fix it with duct tape... duct tape gets 5 stars.
