Vidalia Chop Wizard is probably one of the must have item for 2007. We were impressed with this little kitchen gadget. The Vidalia Chop Wizard really really works. It is like a mini-food processor without the cord. Chop carrots, potatoes, onions, apple, pears, pineapple and even cheeses. Cut into symmetrical squares and also it acts a measuring cup as well. No mess, easy to clean just slide straight into the dishwasher.

I have to admit, this is one of the best kitchen gadgets that I have purchased. I got one at BBB. I even had my parents buy one. It would be better if there was a bigger chopping surface. It is definately worthe the $20 I spent.

Thought this was great but after about a month the bottom container breaks piece by piece until there is nothing left. I purchased 3 before I gave up thinking it was just 1 bad product. A piece of junk.

I enjoy using this, espcially when I have lots of onions to chop. ALso great for vegetables.

I love this product. I use it to make egg salad, I have cut potatoes, onions, cucumbers, anything that needs to be diced. The harder foods need to be sliced first and then put in, but it does a wonderful job of dicing quickly. My favorite is to use it for onions. They come out perfectly. Yes, some is left in the chopper, but it comes with a tool to fish out the pieces and yes it should be put in dishwasher (top rack) to take smell of onions out.

I asked for this item for Christmas and I'm so glad that I got it. This item chops great! Some items, like potatos, are a little hard to cut through and takes a bit of force. Don't bother trying to cut items like canaloupe or oranges as it turns it to mush. But other items, like apples, cuts great. Doesn't leak, cleans up great in the dishwasher however, sometimes leaves the fruit/veggie skins in the chopper blades which are sometimes hard to clean. Comes with a cleaning tool.
