| | I have an extruded disc between C5 and C6 in my neck. My physical therapist said I should get a supportive pillow. I purchased this pillow about 6 weeks ago. The first time I used it, I didn't care for it, as I normally like softer pillows, but decided to give it a couple of days before making a final decision to keep using it. I am so glad I did! Since using this pillow, I have not tossed and turned all night as I previously had been doing. My husband commented that I no longer snore, and I no longer wake up with numb hands because "I slept wrong". This pillow is not something you can comfortably sink into, as in the beginning it felt like a rock to me, but once I pull it towards my shoulders and nestle my head in, I fall asleep quickly and sleep the night through.
