Snap and Slice
The Snap n Slice is the latest kitchen gadget that claims to make cooking preparation easier, cleaner and faster. The Snap and Slice can cut fruit and vegetable into slices and segments. It also allows different widths by simply changing the blades inside the cutter. To cut the food it is simply place the food in the machine and push down to slice it.
However if you view the infomercial it doesn't mention anything about having to resize your foods before using it, as it appears it only suits a certain length and width in the Snap n Slice. Like any of these Kitchen Gadgets these days it also claims it simply a quick rince in water and it is clean, it is nothing new as it is the same for a knife.

First of all unless you like your tomatoes unripe, forget about it. You'll get salsa, not tomatoes, the blades aren't sharp enough for soft food. Then you have to cut the vegetables this is smaller than it looked on TV. Looks easy on TV but in reality you'll have to force to get that potatoe through. Otherwise it works but looks cheap. Stick with the knife.

I bought my Snap & Slice from QVC and absolutely love it. I am elderly and live alone so it is great for small salads. I had one without the corer so bought this one and gave my old one away.
