Good concept - but, it just wasn't that good. Richard looks like he has lost a lot of muscle and is not healthy. I'm going back to the Sweatin to the Oldies.

I ordered Project Hope also by phone and when I received my order a week later, they included all these other products I did not order! I had to ship them back, postage paid, called the company beforehand and they said I would not be charged for shipping/handling - the verdict is still out on that one - hopefully, I will receive a refund and not be charged shipping and handling. This is the exact reason computers will never replace a real person at the end of the line!! I will be calling a supervisor too if this matter is not resolved!!!!!

I ordered on line, on christmas day. I was charged for the entire amount, even tho they said it was two payments. I wanted to try the free vitamens, was charged the next day. I emailed customer service the next day, no answer, the third email they answered and said my account handnt been charged for the vitamens, it was, the next day the charge was gone. They said the kit would be here in 5-7 days, after 7 days I emailed them and asked where it was, they said it would be here the next wednesday, tomorrow will be day 14! I love Richard Simmons, always have always will, but this is terrible. I am on a fixed income, do they think everyone has unending cash? I am affraid I will get my bank statement and have another bogus charge! I have never ordered off of tv before and will never do it again. Shame on you!

I agree with everything everyone said so far and would add that if you offer free bottle of vitamins you should offer it w/o having to order a continuing month to month offer as it does not say that on the advertising. To me this is false advertisement. I just ordered this today so hopefully I didn't get charged a bucket load of money that I can't afford. I wanted all that free stuff that it advertised but not at the expense of having to cancel every single one of them in the end. So, I said no to all of them but the food mover. I think this is a very bad way to do business especially for the kind of person I've known Richard Simmons to be in the past with it. Never had this bad experience before with past orders from his products.
As far as the product itself I just ordered it so that is still out for review.

Automatic voice sales...ask for credit card number first so you are helpless to decline after that....ordered the system as seen on TV..then the nightmare began....offered approximately 5-6 other items such as vitamins, weights, other DVD's, etc - when you declined...the diatribes on each went on forever and then it asked again....for a yes or no.....I responed each time with a strong NO.....don't you think if you said no to the first item there would be no need to continue...just place the order and say thank you!!!! I have always admired and respected Richard but this is taking things a little to far....I know he is aware of because he starts the sales pitch off with a canned message...If I do receive the system I had better not be billed for ANY other item because I also taped the whole incident and will take it further legally...Shame on you Richard for treating Seniors as such!!!!!

tried to order by telephone, tapes only. gave credit card# then refused everything else they offered me. got so annoyed I hung up, so don't know if i will receive it or not. have never used richard Simmon's products before but he comes across very sincere. I hope he sees these reviews and comes out against whoever is doing his marketing.

I ordered the Richard Simmons Hope to help me lose weight and have more energy. When ordering, I was asked if I wanted the vitamins. I told them "NO". I am allergic to many things that are added to them. So to my surprise, when checking my bank account, they had taken out 38.00 for the vitamins (which I found out was the first of three deductions off my account). I had not even received the vitamins either. So I called customer service, and asked why they sent me the vitamins - explaining I had told the operator "NO" on the vitamins!! The representative told me to not open the box and write "refused" on the outside and mail them back. I did exactly what I was told and mailed them back. I also had to mail back the "Hope" package - upon my doctor's advice. I was given credit for the "Hope" package on my checking account about 2 weeks after I mailed it back. I have never been given credit for the (3) deductions for the vitamins yet on my account. I call every week and they tell me they have not received them yet - they were mailed back to them in March!!! My husband (a disabled vet) and I live on fixed income and I know I should not have ordered this, but I thought I was only ordering the Hope package, which I could return if needed. I am writing this to let anyone out there see how this problem has been handled!!!!

I never got a chance to use this product because I waas treated so badly by them. I was told that I would get a chance to get the 7 day trile for the vitimins but they took all my money before I had the chance to get any trile they lied about the vitimins it is all about money as far as I am concerned so I am sending the whole thing back because I do not want to work with customer service people like this. I had to threated them before a supervisor came to the phone and still they did nothing to make me feel any better they took all the money I had and told me it would be 30 dollers plus shipping and handling which was 12.99 which made it close to 50 dollers then I wanted to try their vitimins but they ship them the next day after the food mover and ttook another 43 33 from my account this is why you should be able to talk to a live person but they got it set up to where you order from a machine so you do not know what you are going to be charged so now they will send my refund back or I will tell every body I know not to order from this company I wonder if richard simmons knows about how his coustomer are being treated
