Had the Ninja 1100 for about 5mo now. Felt like it was a good deal at the time I received the whole master prep kitchen system for $159. We used this product often and made sure to run it as the manual states. Thib&b lender does not make smooth smoothies or drinks if that is what you are looking for. Think more like an icee or slushie. If we used it 5x a week figure the motor died 2 of those until 5mo in the Morton died completely. Tried customer service and was told I would receive a rep in 24hrs its been months since the initial problem. After it dieaffordable good I'm contacting them again and again I am not getting any responses to whether or not I can replace the motor component or get a new product. Ay assistant would be nice at this point. But like the blender the customer service is just as lively. Do yourself a favor gt a cheaper blender and save seem money and aggravation.

When my daughter asked me what I wanted for Christmas this year, I told her I would like to have a food processor. I got the Ninja 1100. I wanted something that was simple, easy to use, and that would chop nuts, onions, celery, etc. First thing we did was unpack it (yes, watch out for the blades! They are dangerous!), read all of the directions, and proceeded to chop some ice. Worked great! I was pleased. Ice as fine as new-fallen snow!
It took me a little while to decide what was going to be my first undertaking. I settled on a recipe in the book for applesauce cake. Sounded easy enough. Now, granted, it does state that you need to scrape the batter down the sides of the container. But come on! I probably could have mixed up 4 batches of batter with my little portable mixer in the time it took me to get this monstrosity to mix the batter.
And cleaning??? Forget about it! You will never ever get all of the batter out of all the cracks and crevices.
It's all packed up and in the box to go back. I'm really sorry, daughter, but more than I can deal with.
And I still had to chop the nuts by hand!

For the first time I tried to make a smoothie in the middle size blending container. It would even turn on. No lights to indicate power. I tried different plug-in, even thou the one I used was good. Tried re-assembling it several times thinking I'd made a mistake. E-mailed them to come and get it. Wish I'd checked on-line before I made the purchase. At least I didn't get of the blender I was replacing.

I bought the ninja 1100 several month ago. I tried to make smoothies and soups as demonstrated on videos. I was sooo disappointed...Maybe I didn't let the machine run long enough. The smoothies were not smooth and the soups were so thick I could have served them with an ice cream scooper. I think Euro-Pro should be called to task for untruthful advertising. I've pretty much put mine in the garage and will only use it for large parties when I need to make crushed ice.

The blender i have that cost me $29.00 mixes better than the Ninja 1100. If you like your smoothe to be a mix between a snow cone and a granola bar, then this product is perfect. I prefer to not have to chew my smoothe. Horrible product!!!

I don't have this product, but if you are having problems getting a refund you should complain the the Federal Trade Commission, your Attorney General, your District Attorney, the Attorney General of the state Ninja or Euro-pro operates from, the District Attorney of the county they operate from, plus dispute the charges with your credit card bank if you used a credit card to purchase it. If you purchased from Bed Bath and Beyond, its return policy for a refund is very liberal, and their discount coupons that they mail to most homes knock the price down to around $130.

Well, I already have the (very expensive) Vita-Mix blender, which works great... The Ninja1100 infomercial points out its stacked-blades (for more thorough and quick blending) and that you get a pitcher and an extra smaller container with it... but then I saw this in one of the other reviews here: "No its not a Vita-Mix, they never claim it will do everything a Vita-Mix can." That reviewer, however, liked his Ninja. A lot of the reviewers here knock the customer service and the plastic-ness of the Ninja... which is enough to tell me to revisit my Vita-Mix, especially considering the expense I've already put into that blender. I would add, however, that if I didn't already have the Vita-Mix, I'd probably give the Ninja1100 a try... if it is a "fail" at least I'd be out a lot less money!

i give this a 3 star rating only because i havent used it very much. it crushes ice way better than the magic bullet ever did. the magic bullet wouldnt even turn the ice cubes. the ninja turns ice into snow as long as you dont let it sit. i am still wondering how it will do with juicing. only had product for a couple months.

I found that when I used the smaller container it cannot mix heavy doughs as it says. I was very dissappointed about that.

I don't understand how a person can based the quality of a product on the poor customer service that they may have had. At the end of the day the NINJA products that I own are simple put...AWESOME. the magic bullet dont crush the ice the way the ninja do. Give it a chance, and stop basing your experience on the opinion of another. Consumer...if u dont want to start out with the 1100 the get the smaller version for $40 and get a bang out of life

I have been watching the infomercials on the Ninja and have found it is a common sense type of machine. Looks like it works well for what it was made for. I for one can't afford the VitaMix; for which is a very good product, my daughter has one and has been using it for 2 yrs now with no problems. I would like to try the Ninja and see if I like it. I'm a stickler in reading directions and using common sense. I've seen it at Kohle's, Target, Bed Bath and Beyond and even WalMart. I will price compare on buy it from one of those stores. I didn't rate this as a 5 star because I haven't used it. However; I did rate it as a 4 star due to the reviews and the infommercials. Wish me luck everyone! Trying hard to be healthy!!!

This is a GREAT machine. If you read the directions and make sure you have the proper top to the proper container.(they are NOT interchangeble). This machine does exacltly as advertised. No its not a Vita-Mix, they never claim it will do everything a Vita-Mix can. I have had other Euro-Pro products and have had no problems. THE PRODUCTS DO AS ADVERTISED

I'm not sure what all the bad reviews are about. Heck, Theresa gave it 1 star based on Dave's review. That's crazy. I bought mine at Bed, Bath & Beyond for $99.00 less 20% discount. I use it every day for my smoothie with frozen strawberries, banana, etc. It powers through with no problems. I've had zero problems. Awesome blender at a fourth the price of the expensive blenders.

This guy is promoting this product on the tv knowing that it isn't even in stock. I ordered mine online after watching the ad on tv and once my order was confirm and they got my money is when the informed me that the unit is back ordered and the cookbook is even further out, so when I do get the blender I'll still be waiting for the book and when I called they acted if they could care less, now all they would've had to do is post on the site notifying that the blender will be on back order and then it would be your choice if you wanted to wait, no matter how good the product may be they suck if you screw the customer.

So the negative reviews seem to be more about them not getting the service they think they deserve not the product itself. Im sorry but I could care less if u got your money back or if the custamer service rep hurt your feelings. How well does it work is the question.

@Dave: I've had my Ninja 1100 for about 6 months, and I've never had any problems. I got it for $95.88 (40% off with a coupon code that was offered until February on their facebook page)! I love it, it's a great product!

I purchased my Ninja from Bed Bath & Beyond for 99.00 I use it daily to make protein smoothies with ice, fruit and protein mix plus water or coconut milk and without a doubt it is the best blender that I have ever owned. It does what it says, it turns ice into snow allowing for a huge selection of drinks! I would recommend this to anyone who wants a great blender at a very good price! All of my other blenders cannot properly crush ice and always get jammed or stuck!!!

After reading Dave's experience, I decided not to order the Blender. Thanks Dave. Will stick with the Magic Bullet.

I don't know what the heck you people are talking about. This thing is better than any blender I have ever used in my life. There is only one better and it cost about $400- $500, so aside from spending that kind of money, this is the best you'll find. Most of the people that say theirs doesn't work did not read the directions and have no common sense. The blender has a safety mechanisms that will not allow it to work and will make the power button flash. Just watch a few videos on you tube and make the decision on your own. Some people just have unreal expectations for everything. Love mine. For people who also complain about delivery time, get off your arse and buy one at the store. They sell them at Target, Kohls, etc.

I called in to order the product and only the product... Representative kept trying to up sale me, which I politely declined... However, the “pushy” rep kept trying to up sale me over and over, which I continued to decline... It got to a point where it became a “heated” discussion so I had to let her know for the 4th and last time I do not want anything extra... Unfortunately the “rude” rep totally disrespected my wishes so I terminated the call by hanging up... Therefore, I have to give a “BIG F” for customer service...

I bought the Ninja 1100 for a mere $159. Upon inspection determined it was worth more like $20. Third time I tried to use it the unit would not turn on. Called Euro-Pro customer service to exercise the guaranteed full refund if returned in 60 days. Customer service wanted to send me a new lid. I informed them the lid works fine, fits as it should and does engage the safety mechanism. They still insisted they needed to send me a new lid. I insisted on a return authorization and a full refund at which point they offered me a 25% discount. What a deal! Only pay $120 for a $20 blender that doesn't work! They eventually gave me a return authorization and sent me the shipping label. Shipped the unit back and waited for a refund. After UPS confirmed the unit was delivered I called and requested my refund again and was assured I would have it in at most 10 business days. 12 business days later still no refund. Called customer service back and again requested my refund. This time they couldn't possibly help me I needed to call the headquarters in Montreal, except they are only open when I am busy with my job. I asked for a supervisor, being assured the whole time there is nothing a supervisor could do. When I got a supervisor on the line she agreed to process a refund to my credit card which happened two days later. Unfortunately, they only credited me half of what I had paid. Back on the phone again. Can't talk to a supervisor again, have to give the whole sad story to the call center operator and then demand a supervisor. This time they will process my refund in 7-10 business days, over a month after the returned unit was received. I'll believe the refund when (or if) I ever see it. I am posting this review here because I promised Euro Pro that I would document their extraordinary product and support in as many forums as I can find.
