Greenworks Tools is a series of gardening tools that are powered by battery instead of gas.
It claims to be the first gas free lawn system that includes a

Unlike traditional gas powered tools, with Greenworks tools you no longer have to worry about buying gas, spark plugs not working and worse all dragging cords around the garden.
To use any of the tools, simply insert the battery pack into the machine and you be going in seconds. None of the hassles.
It also claims it has gas comparable power. The batteries uses Lithium Ion Batteries.
