Cricut is an electronic cutting system that allows you cut designs including fonts, shapes, letters and phrases in a variety system. It allows you to create designer scrapbooking, fonts, gift cards and boxes, animal shapes, greeting cards and phrases from a touch of a button. Cricut uses a unique cartridge system which contains the designs.

| | I love my Cricut! I want to use it all the time. The only drawback is that you have to continuously buy cartridges for it in order to cut different shapes or fonts. I still give it a 5 star rating. Of course if you are a thrifty shopper, you can find the cartridges on line or in many stores for a much lower cost than retail. Sign up with one of the online stores and save a bundle! Me and my grandaughters have a blast with it. I know of no other cutter that you can use to be so simple than the Cricut. If you are in the market for a cutter, I suggest the Cricut Expression, cuts up to 24 inches, as opposed to the Cricut that only cuts up to 6 inches.
