| | Overall, the quality of the knives is acceptable. Out of the box, they are nice and sharp, however they dull rather quickly but are still usable for on the table use (steaks, etc). The fillet blade is totally useless, it can barely cut anything. And yes, they do rust. Our set started showing rust after about a month of use and washing in the dishwasher. The handles are awkwardly shaped but its not too big of a problem. The construction feels rather cheap, since the blade is so thing and the handle is textured plastic - I havent had one break yet even now a year later after purchase. We got the set at Fred Meyer for about $30, for that price, and the number of knives you get, you cant really complain about them. Great for households with tight budgets. | Was this review helpful ?
