My dad bought this a really long time ago and still uses it to store things like meat and even herbs in the freezer. The machine gets all the air out and the bags keep their seal and the stuff stays fresh. Great product, if not a bit noisy!

I am on my second food saver. I had had it for years and wanted the pretty new one. We use ours all the time for meat, etc. It's paid for itself just in the amount of cheese it has kept from molding. Can't recommend it enough.

This product is great. Saves money as you don't have to waste food. Individually wrap or wrap in bunches to fit your family size. I buy meat in bulk, break it down, and wrap in pairs or individually. Great product.. plus you can boil in the bag instead of microwave. Place freshly made spaghetti and sauce in a bag, seal it, and freeze it.. when ready to eat, just boil and it tastes like you just made it.

This thing has been great with a moderate-szed family. I bought mine when I was single, and have been glad I did. The saver bags alone are a great buy, but then we got the marinate container, and canner attachment. It really comes in handy, just remember to use it-something it took us some time to remember to do, but now no more zip-lok.
